Here is the number that matters most for homeowners right now. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 2,203 homes sold across DOTW Buy Box in the three months ending August 31, 2026, up 1.4% from the same months a year before. Prices softened in most ZIP codes, but buyers did not disappear. That means pricing your home carefully is the move that matters most.

Redfin reported that Fort Worth was among major buyer's markets where home prices fell, and that Fort Worth prices were down 0.9% month over month in September on a seasonally adjusted basis. That wider picture lines up with what the Real Estate Data Aggregator shows inside DOTW Buy Box: most ZIP codes posted lower median sale prices compared with a year ago.

How prices moved, ZIP by ZIP

Most areas saw prices ease a little. A few held on or moved higher. Here is where each ZIP code landed.

The Real Estate Data Aggregator shows that 76177 in Fort Worth posted the steepest price drop, down 6.2% year over year, to a median of $361,025. Grand Prairie's 75052 fell 4.4% to $344,000. Haslet's 76052 slipped 2.4% to $415,000. Not every area went the same direction, though. ZIP 76132 in Fort Worth was up 7% to $428,000, and Arlington's 76013 was up 1.6% to $315,000.

Buyers are still out there

Softer prices have not scared buyers away. The Real Estate Data Aggregator counted 2,246 pending sales across DOTW Buy Box in the same period. Haslet's 76052 saw pending sales jump 17.6% year over year. Fort Worth's 76179 was up 8.1%. Keller's 76244 added 12.8%. Those are real buyers moving forward, even as prices eased.

The Real Estate Data Aggregator also shows that homes for sale across DOTW Buy Box fell 11.3% year over year to 2,480. Fewer choices for buyers can help sellers, even when prices are a little lower. Nationally, Realtor.com reported that active listings topped 1.16 million homes in September 2026, and that price cuts hit 20.8% of listings, the highest share since October 2022. That national picture makes the local demand here worth noting.

How fast homes are moving

Days on market tell a mixed story. The Real Estate Data Aggregator shows that 76123 in Fort Worth moved 18 days faster year over year, to a median of 38 days. ZIP 76126 in Fort Worth was 14 days faster, at 43 days. Meanwhile, 76052 in Haslet sat at 62 days, one day longer than a year ago. Speed depends a lot on where you are.

Quick sales are still happening. The Real Estate Data Aggregator shows that 42.3% of homes in Grand Prairie's 75052 went under contract within two weeks of listing. Arlington's 76013 was close behind at 38.7%. ZIP 76126 in Fort Worth hit 37.3%. Those shares show that well-priced homes are still finding buyers quickly.

What this means for you

For homeowners, the data from the three months ending August 31, 2026 shows a market that still works, but one where price matters more than it did a year ago. Redfin noted that Fort Worth prices were down 0.9% month over month in September. The Real Estate Data Aggregator confirms that most ZIP codes in DOTW Buy Box saw lower median prices year over year. Setting the right number from the start is what separates a quick sale from a long wait.

For buyers, softer prices in several ZIP codes may open a little more room to compare options. Fewer homes for sale across the area means competition has not gone away entirely. Realtor.com reported that mortgage rates climbed above 7% for the first time since January 2025, so the cost of waiting has its own math.

In short
  1. Across DOTW Buy Box in the three months ending August 31, 2026, prices eased in most ZIP codes, but 2,203 homes still sold and buyers kept moving.
  2. One street can read very differently from the ZIP code around it.
  3. The numbers above are a starting point, not the whole story for your block.
